Bulldogs to remain in District 12, four new teams added.
High School coaches and athletic directors from across the state gathered in Waco today for perhaps one of the most anticipated events in Texas high school sports — the University Interscholastic League’s release of its biennial district realignment. The UIL released the cutoff enrollment numbers in December, and followed with classification and division destinations. Today, they announced the 2018 district delegations.
The New Waverly Bulldogs will be competing with several new additions to Conference 3A Division II. Gone from the District are Buffalo, Bruceville-Eddy, Marlin, & Leon. Taking their places will be new additions Corrigan-Camden, Hemphill, Kountze, and Newton. Anderson-Shiro will remain with New Waverly in District 12.
